are several different classifications
that individuals can work under before
and while going through their application
process.

Construction Wireman/Construction
Electrician:
Anyone who is interested
in working as an electrician can go to work under this
classification, even if he or she is not interested
in applying for the apprenticeship program. For more

Un-Indentured
Worker:
An Un-Indentured Worker is an
applicant of this apprenticeship program who has met
all qualifications for the next available class and is
on the eligibility list. For more information

Indentured
Apprentice:
An Indentured Apprentice is an
individual who has been selected from the eligibility
list by the NEJATC members/trustees for the next available
class and has been registered with the U.S. Department
of Labor’s Office of Apprentice. For

Sub-Journeyman
Wireman:
Individuals
may
be able
to be
to go
to work
under
this
classification
if there
is a
need
at TVA
job
sites.

Outside
Linemen:
Outside
Linemen are
electrical workers
who install
the distribution
and transmission
lines, which
move power from
power plant
to a factory,
a business,
or your home.
