An
Un-Indentured Worker is an applicant
of this apprenticeship program who
has met all qualifications for the
next available class and is on the
eligibility list.
|
| In
order to meet all of the qualifications for the next
available class an applicant must complete the following: |
1.
|
Submit
an application to this apprenticeship program with the
$20.00 application fee, payable with a money order or
cashier’s check.
|
2.
|
Submit official
transcripts showing Algebra I (or the equivalent) AND
graduation date or GED test scores.
|
3.
|
Take the
AIR aptitude test and pass with a qualifying score.
|
4.
|
Have an
interview with the NEJATC members/trustees. Once an applicant
has an interview with the NEJATC members/trustees, he
or she will be placed on the eligibility list.
|
After
an applicant completes all of the above, the NEJATC will
offer the applicant work as an Un-Indentured Worker providing
that work is available. |
If an applicant is already working, the NEJATC will change
that applicant’s classification from Construction
Wireman to Un-Indentured Worker.
