How to prepare:

Gather the documents described below in advance, so you will be prepared for your mandatory Personal Experience Form (PEF) submittal.

education and training documentation:

• Transcripts (do not need to be official)
• Certificates for any relevant certificate programs (e.g., helmets to hardhats, pre-apprenticeship, etc.)
• Transcripts or certificates for any relevant vocational training courses.
  

work experience documentation:

• Documentation needs to demonstrate how many hours you have completed. Paystubs, W-2's, or a letter from your employer can be used.
• Note that if you are using a W-2 to verify AND you have more than 1000 hours with that employer you must also provide at least one pay stub.
  

military documentation:

• DD-214 or other documentation that defines your experience.

letters of recommendation:

You may upload one or more letters of recommendation to support your application. Only the highest scoring letter will be considered. Letters can be from:

●           Journeyman Electrician

●           Construction Contractor

●           Community Group Member

●           School Official or Teacher

●           Mentor, Employer or Other
